Written requests in by noon Eastern, Monday to Saturday, are answered before sundown in Orlando

Terms that apply when you ask the office about reserving a dated departure

These terms cover the website, the request form and the written quote that follows it. Please read them before you send a request.

Whose website this is, and where its single desk sits

This website belongs to Fox River Trail LLC.

Its single desk sits at 1011 E Colonial Dr, Suite 502, Orlando, Florida 32803. Visits happen by arrangement only, so write or call first if you want to come in.

The office works as an independent travel agency. It plans dated spring-run trips, asks an inn near the river and a local outfitter about the nights you pick, and writes one plan for you to accept or decline.

From a sent form to a launch, step by step

Sending the form reserves nothing and costs nothing. Once it arrives, the office asks the inn and the outfitter whether those nights and a place on the water are free.

A first written answer reaches you before sundown in Orlando, the same day when you write by noon Eastern from Monday to Saturday. The full written quote, naming the inn and the outfitter, follows once both have answered, and how quickly they answer is up to them.

Nothing is held until you say yes in writing. Only after that does the office ask the inn and the outfitter to hold the nights and the launch.

You then pay the inn, the outfitter and the park directly, on their terms. Before going out on the water, every paddler signs the outfitter's release.

Inn, outfitter and park named on paper for your nights

A quote is a plan on paper. It names the inn and the outfitter for your nights and repeats the cancellation and refund terms that the inn, the outfitter and the park each set.

The figure in the quote is confirmed only after the inn and the outfitter have answered for those exact nights, and the quote holds nothing until you accept it in writing.

Who you deal with on the trip

You pay the inn, the outfitter and the park directly, each for its own part of the trip.

Their rules belong to them. The outfitter asks every paddler to sign its release before launching, each park sets its own entry and launch limits, the Rock Springs Run landing sets its own slots, and the inn, the outfitter and the park each set their own cancellation and refund terms. Weather calls on the water are the outfitter's to make.

The inn or the outfitter pays the office a commission.

Rooms, boats and gates stay with whoever provides them

The room is the inn's, the boat and the guided paddle are the outfitter's, the gates and day-use reservations are the park's, and the launch slots and entry charge on Rock Springs Run are the landing's, and the parking charge for the Chassahowitzka paddle belongs to the launch. Each answers for its own service under its own terms.

To the extent the law allows, the office answers only for its own work: passing your request on accurately, reporting the suppliers' answers and terms as they gave them, and making the holds you accepted in writing. It does not answer for the weather, the water, a park closure or the way a supplier runs its own business.

Each run's from figure assumes two travelers and the federal room rate

The from figure for each run, such as $175 per person for two nights on the Rainbow River, is a calibration. It assumes two travelers sharing one room and one car, each in a single kayak, and it uses the federal lodging rate of $113 a room night in place of a real inn. The outfitter's water charges and the park, landing or launch charges inside it are the figures each of them posts.

Room taxes and the county tourist tax come from the inn and sit outside the figure. A solo traveler in a room alone carries the whole room.

A figure becomes firm only in writing, once the inn and the outfitter have answered for your exact nights. Until then, treat it as a guide to the size of the cost.

The request form holds no card and takes no money

This website takes no money and asks for no card. Sending the request form is free and holds nothing on its own.

Because the office keeps none of your money, it has nothing of yours to refund. Refunds and cancellation charges follow the terms of the inn, the outfitter and the park, and the written quote spells them out.

Changes and canceled water days

Want to change a plan? Send the change the same way you sent the request, and the office passes it to the inn and the outfitter.

When an outfitter calls off a day for lightning or high water, the office looks for another departure on the list and tells you in writing what it found.

Rivers, parks and towns mentioned on these pages

Names of rivers, parks and towns appear here only to say where a trip goes. Each place keeps its own rules, which its managers set.

Names that belong to others

Any company names that reach you in a written quote belong to their owners and are used only to say who provides each part of a trip. No supplier sponsors or stands behind this site.

Tools another company may run on this site later

Part of the site may later be provided by a third-party supplier, for example a search or reservation tool. Any reservation or payment made through such a tool happens with that supplier, on its own terms, and the office will say on this page which supplier it is before the tool goes live.

The State of Florida's law, from October 30, 2026

The State of Florida provides the law that governs these terms. They take effect on October 30, 2026; when they change, the new text and its date replace the old ones on this page.
